HEY 2018! A Sneak Preview of What's to Come!

OMG. It's 2018. Happy New Year!

Here's what's to come in 2018...

This year is going to be crazy. We've got a ton of new things coming and I CANNOT wait to share them with you all!

First of all, thank you so much for a crazy 2017. It's been amazing meeting you all at trunk shows and watching RL grow. This really wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you all so much - you mean the world to me! I really mean it - with my entire heart!

In 2017, we turned a year old. We also got out to meets and tournaments and learned that people love our products. And most of all, that there's a brand out there that ACTUALLY, genuinely wants to make rad stuff for swimmers. It's about time, right?!

This year, we began manufacturing our own clothing and shipping orders ourselves. In 2016, we used a print on demand service that took each order, printed, and shipped directly to the customer. We held zero inventory, which was nice, but that gave us little control of what we could do to make the whole experience special for our customer. It also meant long shipping times because each order was made on demand with tiny margins.

This year, I decided to take a big risk and put everything I had into creating my own customized, cut and sew clothing with our own labels sewn onto each piece. It's really paid off and although our selection is much smaller than it used to be, I'm extremely happy with how the store looks now and can't wait to add more to it!

I absolutely believe, that this is only the start of something big. As we approach the Olympics in two years, I believe it's time for aquatics to truly take the limelight and to be known to the world as the coolest sports that exist on this planet!

This year, I'll do my absolute best to continue to fulfill this mission by continuing to grow and doing what we do best - making the raddest swim apparel known to mankind.

Just what are we planning to do in 2018?

Here's a little teaser...

1. LOTS more BRAND NEW, JAW DROPPINGLY RAD product

2. An expanded men's line (a huge priority for us in 2018)!

3. New, never before seen accessories added to store 

4. More trunk shows, not just in Southern California!

5. More colors, sizes, and varieties

6. Better fits, washes, fabrics, and more colors!

We've learned a ton in this past year. As much as 2017 was full of victories, we've made countless mistakes and we plan to come back bigger and better in 2018.

My forecast? 2018 is going to be a year full of wins, even better product, a much bigger store, lots of growth and lots of growing pains (hopefully I'll be hiring my first hire soon!), and overall BIG EXCITEMENT all around for us, but more importantly, for you, the RL GANG <3

I also plan to utilize this blog more often and update you all on all the fun that is to come :)
